• Designed for applications like video editing, photo backup, technical document preservation, file backup, music library, financial records (this is NOT a NAS, it is a DAS and does NOT support RAID).
• USB3.1 (Gen1, 5Gbps) Type-C interface, compatible with 3.5” SATA hard drive/2.5” SSD, supports up to 4 hard drives, total storage capacity up to 72TB (18TB x 4).

• Up to 40TB storage capacity. D5-300 can support five (5) SATA hard drives, is compatible with 10TB 3.5 inch SATA hard drive, and has a total storage capacity up to 40TB ( in RAID 5). (Note: users need to purchase their own hard drives. HDD's are not included.) D5-300 is equipped with brand new USB type-C high-speed interface.
• Compatible with various hard drives, such as 3.5" SATA hard drives, 2.5" SATA hard drives and SSD. The product might not be able to detect the newly installed hard drives that had been used on other devices before. For the security of the data, please format the hard drives on the D5-300 before use.
• Real super speed with USB3.0 (5Gbps) Transport Protocol! D5-300 adopts USB3.0 (5Gbps) protocol. The speed is up to 235MB/s (Read, max), and 210MB/s (Write, max) with SSHD.
• RAID 5 is recommended as the best option for D5-300, which balances between data security and storage capacity. Please use hard drives in the same brand, model and capacity to build RAID. RAID 5 in five (5) hard drives guarantees the best performance. D5-300 comes with TerraMaster official software RAID Manager for building RAID and checking HDD info. Please do not use 3rd party softwares.
